Since I never seem to find the time to get on here and update Ariana's blog, I figured I'd just take a little time and post a bunch of stuff at once.

I never did post any pics of Ariana in her Halloween outfit, she was a pirate princess. It was really hard to get her to sit still for a good pic, but I managed to get a couple.

Ariana would never go in her room and play unless somebody was with her. One day after we got back from a walk she was following me down the hallway, but after I was in my bedroom for a few minutes I realized she wasn't behind me. I found her sitting in her room reading a book. She now loves to go in there and play, but she really loves looking at books the most.

When me or Ben are playing video games she has her own controller we let her play with. I guess even pretending you're playing can wear you out.

This video is a little long (3 minutes) but I thought it was cute and it gives people who don't get to see her often a chance to see how she acts.

Ariana turned 1 today. We had her pics taken last week and they were in today. They came out so cute.

Ben and I just sit and laugh at her. But we really did notice today that she finally sprouted her first tooth.
And she's getting enough hair now to have bed head.

The next top model

Ariana and I went to a baby consignment sale last night and found her some really cute clothes and shoes. Of course today she begged me to try stuff on her and take pics.

I love this one. I don't know if that's a gang sign she's throwing out or what!

This outfit was so cute, I love baby hats. She was already done with the clothes changing and modeling though.



She agreed to pose for one last pic though in exchange for a shoe (she's very easy to please sometimes). She said the rest of the clothes modeling will have to be put off for another day though.

There isn't really anything new going on so I thought I'd throw some random stuff up.
First of all Ariana wanted to say "HI!"

She'll be 9 months old on Thursday. She's growing sooooo fast! She can actually fit into some 18 month clothes!

A few weeks ago I was taking some pics of myself (doesn't everyone do that!). When I was looking at them later I noticed two things. First of all how terribly dirty my mirror was! Second I noticed this cute little head in the lower right hand corner. I didn't even realize she was there at the time.



Well, since it is almost 1am I should try to get her to bed. If I'm lucky she'll look like this in about half an hour.

You get a 2 for 1 special with this video. I finally got her sitting up and she has learned how to wave and "say" bye-bye. She's too cute. Sorry the room was a little dark for video.

Giant slug caught on video!

I finally got some video of Ariana "crawling". She doesn't really crawl though, she just pulls herself around like a giant slug. At least she doesn't leave a slime trail. She can also push herself back up into a sitting position, but I haven't been able to capture that exciting feat on video yet!

A few weeks ago I was playing with my new digital camera and found that it had a smile feature. You could take a picture of a person and if they weren't smiling you could choose that option and it would distort the pic to make it look as if the person were smiling. Of course I went crazy playing with it. These are some of my favorite results...

I love this picture of Ariana and just had to post it. We finally caught up with the times and bought a digital camera about a month ago. Of course I take tons of pictures of Ariana and I think this one accurately depicts how she is starting to feel about it.

We had Ariana's 6 month pictures taken at Wal-Mart on July 11th. It used to be in the old days that when you had portraits taken at Wal-Mart you could buy a cd (or disk in the really old days) of the portraits for only $10. Then you could email them, post them, print them, whatever you wanted. Well...they now charge $100 for the cd! So needless to say I had to get creative to post her pics. I took digital pictures of her portraits. So here they are, flash spots and all.
